Okay, I am having an issue with accessing a custom service on the second node via the cluster name when the application is failed over from the first node. This issue is only resolved when the 1st node is rebooted. I have the service being accessed through the cluster name and not a cluster access point. The CAP provides access to the network share that is necessary for the application and works fine even when the custom service is inaccessible.
Should I be accessing the service through the CAP? I can't seem to find the magic combination of terms that will lead me to exactly what a CAP should be used for besides network shares.
